friend – thats a strong word

friends they come and go in every point of our life.  There are people from elementary school that I wonder what they are doing, like that first boy I kissed during our sleeping bag reading day or that teacher that took me under her wing.  Then middle school where a girl Jennifer Bryant was my first friend when I walked in that classroom after transferring and we are still in communication today.  Then high school my little crew Trina Poole and Deniece Pritchett we used be so tight and do everything together.  Tiffany Morris a friend forever and how we met was so typical, she is so honest and true.  Tony Adams and Teddy Hill my boys we were always together and some people resented me for that haha but man we have been friends forever.  Krystal Wilson our friendship has only grown stronger in the past few month thanks for always giving and listening.  I reflect on my past and i am now cherishing those tender moments of innocence and growth.

College in Hampton where Tonya Fasusi is still one of my best friends and actually lives in LA here with me to college in Miami where i built forever friendships with Shaina Rivera and Francy Freixas.  To relationships with my ex gf’s (i won’t say their names haha) that I am still close with to this day even though they are now spread to other continents.  A lot of building, memories, laughter and tears happened through those years.

I somehow managed to get the opportunity to move to LA at 22 and had to take the offer, where I found myself lucky to have friends from back home, college, and work actually moving/moved to LA around the same time.  Quentin Miles and Jovana Brush; my rats kept me sane through my transition to a new home and I am forever grateful.  Work brought me a cherished friend to this day Desiree Norwood (prev. Rogers) and each day our friendship seems to just grow closer and closer to her and her family (literally that’s PG) and her wonderful husband that granted me the nickname “soul sista”, her mother whose soul is genuine and always welcoming me into her house.  Dezi F Baby you are one in a million, the reason why I met Roses, JoJo, Blissy, and Drea.  I know you don’t choose to but you are the momma of the group and the glue that holds us all together.

friend that’s a strong word, but I’m glad to call these people my friends truly honestly blessed.  There are many more of you that maybe I didn’t list but sometimes it be like that
